The IIOT Systems Engineer will support IT systems and applications related to manufacturing and design, including Operational Technology (OT) systems, Engineering and Quality software, and other areas. Position may also be called in to participate in general IT support initiatives as needed. The position requires a self-starter with critical thinking skills and the ability to both prioritize and multi-task.

This is a generously compensated position with salary plus benefits and bonus at a well-established and growing organization.  Candidates MUST be US citizens or GC holders; C2C or C2H situations are not available.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain computer systems and software which interact with shop floor equipment, such as on-premises and cloud OT platforms, Quality and R&D systems, and equipment configuration software.
  • Support networking infrastructure for manufacturing systems and ensure uptime and reliability, including participating in designing, implementing, and supporting network access methods for the shop floor equipment.
  • Support and maintain Engineering, Quality, and specialty Manufacturing software such as CAD/CAM, simulation and digital twin platforms, technical writing software, Statistical Process Control, and labeling products.
  • Work collaboratively with multiple internal IT support and external software support teams as well as internal business customers to facilitate communication and resolution of issues.
  • Respond to and document work efforts ticketing system with clear, concise, and complete information. Train IT Support resources on supporting the Manufacturing environment.

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience
  • Experience supporting Windows-based PCs and specialty software
  • Above-average networking skills
  • Proficient in writing group policies/automation scripts
  • Strong critical thinking
  • Ability to work independently and report on progress
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to create and maintain technical documentation.

Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.  This position requires on-call emergency support coverage and local (same day) travel to multiple locations in the NH Seacoast area.
